Silent Short Film

I first started creating my motion graphic in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects. I then started filming my family members, acting out the scenarios I had planned for my silent film. I used CapCut to assemble and edit the raw footage. I cut and adjusted clips to how I wanted my short film to look. Once I was satisfied with my film, I exported the final version and uploaded it to YouTube as an unlisted video.
Recording the footage for my silent film was the easiest part, and directing the film was pretty easy. The most difficult part was editing it and making the motion graphic for it. To overcome these challenges, I just kept playing around with After Effects to figure out different tools and how I wanted my motion graphic to look.
I did this project on my own. I realized that working alone is sometimes better in some situations. I did not mind working on this project alone; it prevents disagreements, and I can overall just do whatever I want.
I think my silent film exceeds a 4 because I tried my best on this project, and I could have done more for it to come out looking a little more professional. Other than that, I feel like I did a great job, given the situation I was in, I was still able to get it done.
